Mature Size: 6-12 inches high by 12-24 inches wide
This easy care plant is best grown in an area of good drainage, such as in a raised garden border in an area of full to partial sun. Lilac-blue double blooms that resemble miniature rose buds adorn the plant from spring until the first frost on cascading branches. Blooms are continuous throughout summer with no deadheading needed!
This unique new sunflower produces numerous blooms on a branched bush-like habit, unlike traditional sunflowers. The blooms are approximately 4 inches across and do not need to be deadheaded to continue blooming, but can be groomed for tidiness. This 24-42" tall by 20-32" wide plant blooms several weeks longer than similar sunflowers and is great for attracting pollinators to the garden. Blooms continue all season and well into the fall. I am really enjoying this new addition to the Proven Winners collection.

I always enjoy browsing Proven Winners' yearly recommendations. I tried the Suncredible helianthus this year. I would purchase this annual plant again but give it more space next time -- it grew over the salvia and other neighbors in the bed. Good posting. Thank you. P x
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice plant. I found it to spread as well and would give it lots of space. The re-blooming miniature sunflowers on multiple stalks is a great feature.
DeleteWhat a lovely selection! I'd love to take a walk around your garden!

Thank you Betty. I enjoyed your sweet photos.
DeleteI love purchasing new plants in autumn, Lee. Those you show us are fabulous. But this season I realized I have no free spots to plant some more. Need to think about.
ReplyDeleteI find the same issue when trying to find space to plant, but where there's a will there's a way! If I walk around enough, I can usually find a place to tuck in some color!
DeleteThank you for visiting Agnes. I enjoyed your beautiful photo captures of the horses.
ReplyDeleteHello Lee ... I love seeing new introductions for the next year .. lots of beautiful blue here .. we don't really have any distributors here for Fall planting ... a shame but probably for the best since I have a load of new Spring bulbs to plant ! haha
