It's well into Fall in the northeastern garden and there is a changing array of color everywhere. Long Island has endured Hurricane Sandy and then a nor'easter the following week and this of all Garden Blogger's Bloom Days has been a relief and pleasure to be able to step out into the garden and capture the beauty of nature's color. Come share my passion of nature and join me with a walk through my garden.

Absolutely love your blog. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful information with us.
ReplyDeletePoor NE friends--you all have had a terrible time of it lately, and I hope the weather gives you a break! Still--your garden looks lovely, filled with beautiful textures and colors. Looking at your photos, I'm resolving to add more grass to our gardens--I love the 'Yaku Jima' photo, it's just gorgeous. Glad you could enjoy your garden and escape a bit for GBBD. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you made it through Sandy in relatively good shape. So much damage and loss elsewhere. Gardens always help to heal. Happy GBBD to you.
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous photos! I only have fake vegetables on my wall today.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...that Spirea foliage is amazing...as good as any flower...and I love the mounding 'Little Bunny'!
ReplyDeleteI hope Mother Nature is finished with freak weather for this year, for all of us, we have had more than enough for years to come! Loved your spireas, both of them, amazing colours. I also have Heuchera 'Caramel', but it doesn't really change colour in the autumn.
ReplyDeleteA lovely walk... your Maiden Grass Miscanthus is enchanting.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful colours in your photographs, almost like a tapestry.
ReplyDeleteYour blog popped up as I was searching for images of Chamaecyparis Obtusa Compacta. Great photos, and I'm happy to see that you post on Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day too. I skipped this month. : (
ReplyDeleteLee, You have a lot of beauty in your garden still. I'm glad you came through the storm O.K. Love your collage. P. x
