So pretty! Love the pictures of the lake, the leaves are beautiful. So that's how my astilbe would look like if I didn't cut it, will try to leave up next year.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed. The lake is right down the road within walking distance so I can watch the colors changing by the day. I got these photographs right after a rain when the colors just seemed to pop and wanted to share! The Astilbe make for a nice dried flower after the season is done. Have a nice weekend!
DeleteAll the moaners need to stop by here.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ricki. A lot of folks complain about fall but it sure is beautiful. I do look forward to spring and summer more but have to admit I certainly enjoy the changes in the seasons and ever-changing landscape...keeps things interesting! Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteThank you Susan. I found the bark pumpkin in a local nursery and am enjoying it and the woodland path is just right down the street and extends a few miles for walking. Thanks for visiting and a Happy Fall to you!

DeleteI love Camus' quotation -- perfect. This is a beautiful posting, Lee. Autumn has passed its peak here and we've had a hard frost; just lovely fall memories remain. It's sad to see the end of the gardening season, but I'm ready for a period of rest. P. x

ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting and for the kind words Donna. I am glad you enjoyed the photos!
DeleteI fell nostalgic looking at your fall series of photos- already the trees are bare here and we are into those first bleak days of November. A chill is definitely settling in to the air now and soon enough there will be snow.
